Welcome to Millers!
Like the other eating establishments in Skidby, the quality of the home
baked food served up at Millers' is second to none (and I can vouch for that
personally) .
With a clean, homely and
relaxed atmosphere, it's not difficult to see why Millers Tea Room has
become so popular so quickly. Visitors to Skidby Mill can now call in at
the new on-site tea room for a late breakfast, light lunch or afternoon
tea.
Elaine Dickinson runs the tearoom for
and this relatively new facility is already proving popular with visitors to the
mill as well as regular diners. As well as offering breakfast, lunch and a range of tempting
homemade cakes and desserts, Elaine also organises themed musical
afternoons, when visitors can combine afternoon tea with a little light
entertainment. Millers also provides a catering service to anyone wanting
to use the conference facilities which are available at Skidby Mill, with a
selection of hot and cold menus available. All of the flour used in
Elaine's recipes
are produced at the mill, enabling visitors to taste the
end product after they have learnt how it is made |

At Millers you can openly see the kitchen where the food is
prepared. Despite being very busy, the staff manage to keep things
spotlessly clean
The blackboard shown on the wall advertises the day's 'Specials', which
helps to keep the menu as fresh as the food.

available for your use (shown on the

baked cakes and pastries that Elaine has on offer. Chocolate Cake (what an
understatement), Pecan Pie, Flapjack, Victoria Sponge, Madeira Cake and Cream

to name but a few.

the Mill for the ultimate, traditional home cooked
experience!
