The Skidby &
Little Weighton Methodist Church (now a combined Methodist & Church Of
England organisation) is situated on
Main Street at approximately the centre
of the village. It is just opposite St Michael's Church and is adjacent to the Village
Hall (separated by 'Church Rise').
The church's
congregation currently includes people
from both Skidby & Little Weighton parishes, after the decision was made to close the
Methodist Church premises at Little Weighton in the August of 2002.
The Methodist Minister is Mr Dave M
Johnson, who extends an open invitation to anyone who would like to join the
church to come along to one of their weekly services held each Sunday
morning at 10.45am.
The church celebrated the 20th birthday of its Sunday School on the 16th
February 2003. A special service was held with teachers and pupils both past
and present attending.
